Art in Nature returns to the Birdwing Open Air Classroom 4 p.m. March 14. Join us and our collaborator, Wildlife Jewels, as we "Paint the Jewels of the San Dieguito Lagoon."
Nothing inspires art quite like nature. As we explore the Coast to Crest Trail, we’ll gather inspiration for a community painting. Then, as the afternoon sunshine rakes across the river valley, we’ll return to the Birdwing where canvas and paints await!
Art in Nature is organized by San Dieguito River Valley Conservancy and its community partners.
The nonprofit Wildlife Jewels is on a mission to conserve wildlife through education, collaboration and action. Its community art program, “Paint the Jewels,” provides guided experiences for participants to connect with nature and create collaborative pieces inspired by wildlife observed in the field.
