Creekside Critters

Creekside Critters is a fun, family-friendly speaker series hosted monthly at the Del Mar Branch Library, where kids and families can meet some amazing animals that call the San Dieguito River Valley home. Each session features a new local critter—reptiles, raptors, mammals, or insects—and offers hands-on learning led by local experts. Through close-up encounters and engaging storytelling, Creekside Critters inspires curiosity, fosters appreciation for local wildlife, and helps the next generation connect with and care for our shared watershed.
