River Park Operating Endowment

Donors can direct their giving to the Conservancy through professionally managed funds at the San Diego Foundation, the Rancho Santa Fe Foundation, and the Del Mar Foundation.

The River Park Operating Endowment is an endowment fund that provides ongoing funding for basic River Park operations, such as park ranger's salaries, fence maintenance etc. The Operating Endowment anticipates increased operating expenses as the River Park trail system continues to expand. In addition to individual citizens, the local government members of the River Park Joint Powers Authority Board make annual contributions to the River Park Operating Endowment. These members include City of San Diego Council members, County of San Diego Board of Supervisors and other San Diego County and City government officials as well as the Chair of the Citizens Advisory Committee to the River Park.
