Boden to Sutherland Trail

The Pamo Valley Trail will extend the Coast-to-Crest Trail by approximately seven miles from Boden Canyon to Lake Sutherland. This new segment will link the Lower and Upper Santa Ysabel Truck Trails that currently exist within the Cleveland National Forest to Boden Canyon.
The River Park is working closely with the City of San Diego and the U.S. Forest Service to plan this trail. Some of the necessary field work has been conducted and a proposed trail alignment is being studied. Two trail staging areas are also proposed. Once a trail alignment is chosen, appropriate permits will be obtained to allow construction to begin.

How You Can Help

The Conservancy has created a special Trails Acceleration Fund to assist with the design and construction of trails throughout the River Park. Please visit our SUPPORT US page if you would like to earmark your contribution for this Fund. If you would like to designate your gift specifically for this trail segment, please CONTACT US directly.
